Life in the Cold Lands of Mrs. Elizabeth

The coolest thing has happened. After emerging from a fu***** hangover, I'm back on business.

I think this is just the way things are. In order to construct you have to destroy first. And nothing like a good night out to destroy all the laziness and uncertainty I had.

I feel reborn and ready to work. One more chapter done in my dissertation and the survey is almost ready. It is on draft stage, where I am getting valuable feedback from some very good friends I trust.

Today I decided to cook something different for a change. After all, I feel different. Then my sister suggested me to cook some minced beef the way my mom does at home. I thought... nah... I can't do this, but who knows me knows that I'm not afraid of trying. The worst that can happen is everything going wrong.

What happened? It was delicious!!! Take a look at the photo I took.

Apart from that I am back on the gym and feeling much better. Seems that everything is back on track. I just have to concentrate and don’t lose my focus. This experience is almost over and was a great time of my life. Time to finish it and move on. Can't wait to get home...

Ah, I have been listening to music a lot and I "bumped" with this artist by a MSN tagline from a friend of mine (thanks’ Raul!). You may want to check Wax Tailor . It is a French guy who uses samples in their music as music directors use actors. The record is conceived as an orchestral movie between hip-hop and down tempo, where each track is a part of a story.

He says his influences include Doris Day and Nina Simone. Good stuff. I hope you like it. I did. You can listen to the record in the website

Well, that's it. Back to work.

See ya!
